A little birdy told me to quote Service Bulletin Ref no: 163512-2343 at the dealer. Have yet to get back in contact to test this. Bearing in mind mine is basically the first Golf Mk7 wagon to go public in WA - it's early as they get, built late 2013 in the Black Forest.

Putting together the puzzles throughout this thread, it's probably the detailed steps required to connect their Golf Mk7 MY13 built SatNav back to the motherland and enable the MapCare bit that will allow a new SatNAV map updates to occur.

But I'm only guessing.

That's about what I figured, but I haven't got back to it. Been busy with other stuff, plus I discovered Siri and voice-driven Nav on a trip to Sydney last month.

I wonder why it's only 345MB. Mind you, I haven't checked my SD Card since the dealer did my update.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but the P38_N60S3MIBS2_ROW_NT.7z (345MB) file just expanded to 418MB worth of files. I'll have to go check the contents of my MIB1 SDCard and see if that's right or not...
