Lakin plates alternative?

I’ve just seen a note on the Lakin Plates website that the temporary closure is now in fact a permanent one. 🙁

These brackets were the best-made ones I knew of and I was hoping to get some for the next car to replace the hideous euro brackets from the factory.

Does anyone know any good alternatives? I liked the quality of the Lakin product and the fact that it used the holes left by the factory bracket.

It was a bummer to see LAKIN close. What I did was the plug the factory holes with some plugs I ordered from AutoInstruct. Then ordered the paint from VG Auto Paint in Sydney as per the paint code.
LAKIN used the Kingpin protectors, so I grabbed a set from Autobarn and it looks pretty good. Much better that the Euro holder anyway.
