I have a Golf R 7.5 done 11500 km but it's almost 15 months since I took delivery, last week I booked it in for the 12 month / 15 k service the next day I got a reminder service due in 20 days matching the day I booked for service. I had never received a service reminder prior anyone else experienced this seems like the car has received the notice via my phone Bluetooth or USB these cars are getting too smart. Big brother is watching I wonder if they are monitoring the JB4

Coincidence. Mine started giving me service reminders before I booked mine in. Pretty sure the count down started at 20 days.

I reckon I know why mine started at 20 days. I was away for work, so I wasn't at home to see the 30-21 day warnings. :p
I drive a Mazda for work. It's nag screen is annoying. I have to dismiss the warning before I can view the trip computers or engage cruise control.

Might ask about that. It comes up, I let the Fleet Manager know so they can book it in. He ums and ahs... "Oh it can go awhile longer".
Not sure how I go, more often than not, it goes for servicing and comes back with the nag screen still there as they forgot to reset it. They also love metho in the wiper fluid, but that another story and we are already off topic. :p
