One of mine came loose, I would guess if you give it a gentle tap if it moves keep going.
How do you remove the stock chrome exhaust tips?
I'm looking to paint them black, but want to know if they come off. Are they pressed on or welded? I looked under there and can't readily tell. I don't want to start hammering them off if they are welded obviously.
I also may buy some chrome ones to be able to return the car to stock when selling in the future.
Any help is appreciated.
thx

The wagon's different, not sure if the hatch is the same (as both their tips actually connect through to the muffler).
Though not sure if the OP has a hatch or wagon

I have seen most R hatches with black tips. Are they standard?

apparently they can slide off with a loosening of a few clips from underneath.
