    Has anyone's Golf 7 suffered a "Blackout"?

    3,500 km and 3 months and all is good..

    Define what you mean by 'blackout'?
    3,300 km's for me after 4 1/2 months ownership and not a problem at all (although Ive had a few blackouts in the that time, maybe some whiteouts as well...)

    nup - 18,000km here and the most perfect car I've ever owned. Much better than my Mk6.

    Seriously? If there was a run of "blackouts" on overseas Mk7s then I'd understand the question but this is a different beast.

    Has it? I thought it was to do with false neutrals in the DSG gearbox

    I think the OP is just asking the community to see if this problem that occurred in previous model is carried over to the mk7 Golf. If it has, I'm sure the web and media would light up like a wild fire.

    Neither the Golf6 nor Golf7 are known for any "blackout" problem. The issues reported with the 7-speed DQ200 as fitted to the Mk6 are reported elsewhere (including here: Recall of 7spd DSG (excludes Mk7)).
