Yes it does run lean for quite a while doesn't it. Funnily enough, your power and torque figures are almost identical to my Mk6 GTI thats stage 2. I just had it dyno'd two weeks ago (161kw and 340nm). Mine runs a max boost of 16.4psi.
Had my Mk 7 GTI on the dyno today. All stock apart from the high flow air filter. Quite high AFR down low for a factory tune.

Interesting about the stage 2 similar to my stock Mk7. I just had a stage 2 tune done after this dyno with a 3" dump pipe fitted. I will be getting another dyno run next week to check the power increase etc.
Not sure what to expect but after driving around this afternoon I would image it should be around 190 kW give or take. It's absolutely insane. It just pushes you back and keeps accelerating with a massive torque curve.
Hi all,
had mine on a Dyno a week or two ago. APR Stage 1, VW Racing CAI and Milltek 3" non resonated turbo back exhaust, (which I think effectively makes it a Stage 2?) and got this:
TBH I thought it'd produce more power than 172kw at the wheels, but there you go!

Would you not need to get the APR stage 2 tune to take advantage of the 3" dump pipe?
Hi Dam,
When I had the exhaust installed the tuner updated the APR software to take advantage of the exhaust. I dont know that this is technically a 'Stage II' as such, I dont thing APR have one released as yet
