    GTI 40 Front Lip Spoiler

    So I broke a piece off my front lip spoiler going up a steep driveway. Anyone know how much I’m looking at for a new one and how easy is it to remove the old one and replace it.

    The best thing would be to get a quote with a part number from the dealer Find a Dealer | Volkswagen Australia and then you can check online for a better price if available. Replacement should be pretty straight forward - check ErWin - Volkswagen AG erWin Online

    Yes I got a quote for part number 5G0805915 nearly seven hundred bucks. However upon googling this part number, this looks like this is the part that the splitter sits on top of. I'm after the splitter itself.

    I also got the following diagram but this doesn't look like a GTI 40. Does anyone else agree?

    That is the wrong part number for you car and it is a holder number itself which on your model is 5G0805915N for the spoiler part number is 5G0805901 Genuine European Volkswagen Audi - 5G0805901041 - Front Spoiler - Clubsport Models for the center and the sides are 5G0805904B & 5G0805903G NEW GENUINE VW GOLF GTI EDITION 40 OFF SIDE FRONT BUMPER SPOILER 5G0805904B 041 | eBay & NEW GENUINE VW GOLF GTI EDITION 40 NEAR SIDE FRONT BUMPER SPOILER 5G0805903G 041 | eBay

    Thanks, yes it is the centre part that is damaged.
