    I worked it out myself, and then looked in the manual & found there's detailed instructions

    So have a crack at it, RTFM if you get stuck.
    2006 MkV 2.0TDI -> 2005 MkV GTI -> 2008 MkV R32 -> 2013 Polo 77TSI + 2016 Mk7 Golf R Wagon

    Yeah dead simple, no tools needed. Only need somewhere to store the riser pieces for when you want a flat floor again.

    Just put on this carbon weave look sticker on rear and not happy with it
    Very hard to put on without bubbles and ripped it already. At least from afar it looks good. I would love proper Rear Guard thick protector but it so expensive after shipping. I don't like VW's alloy protector.

    I thought that the Westfalia one might fit, since the towball comes down underneath the bumper. Plus the mk7 doesn't have the centre muffler like the mk6 R. I'm yet to buy the tow kit but considering it.

    This is a deal breaker/maker between this and the new Superb wagon 206 4x4. Not entirely comparable but is a must for my next wagon. Keen to hear your results.

    are there many more Mk7 R wagons still available? your decision might already be made...
