Just ordered mine today and will collect just after Christmas. Traded for a CLA45 so looking forward to learning how much I have lost, if anything, in normal driving. I do like the bark from the AMG so I can’t wait to hear the VW version.

I assume traded 'from'.. otherwise you swap more than I do.

I think you will have lost some speed in return for a more pleasant, roomy interior and an overall more comfortable day to day proposition. Pretty sure the Akra will compensate over a stock R for bark.

We would all know if bkpr just got to work..

@jamesy Did you order with Sunroof ? Mine's been on order for well over a month, with apparent shipping/import delays. I am also in Sydney, not sure on your location, but dealer is now thinking Jan 10th. After an initial Dec 5th, then Dec 20th delivery.

Mine took roughly close to 2 months to arrive with sunroof. Nil delays. Although I ordered in September.

Brought from Ferntree Gully VW in Melbourne which has stock, including sunroof. Picked it up on Friday so taking it easy at the moment. Initial impressions is that Turbo is a little slower to pick up compared with AMG45, but once in boost, just as quick. Exhaust is very different to CLA45 - but it really does crack when pushing hard, a much more authoritative bark. I think the audio enhanced exhaust soundtrack will get tiring quite quickly though. Some work to be done I think setting up my own driving profile.

Nice to see something on YouTube about the R with Akropovic but I don’t think this gives a good impression of the actual sound. The dynaudio is great in the R and ‘enhances’ the soundtrack quite authoritatively. I will try to get exterior fly by soundtrack to demo.
