Golf R performance edition

So I just happened to be taking my car in for a service today and happened to come across some info about a performance edition Golf R.

Summary of what I observed is it's essentially a Wolfsburg edition except it has black mirrors caps, black Pretoria rims, akropovic exhaust, bigger brake calipers and discs.. oh and available on tumeric yellow.

When I asked for details the dealer was tight lipped about it around price and delivery but said stock would potentially be in by the end of the year..

IIRC there has been a similar variant available in the UK for a while now. As well as the akropovic exhaust it also had bigger brakes (and I don't know what else), but no extra power (officially). I believe all future Rs built from now on will have a GPF (similar to a DPF but designed for Gasoline engines) and this will mean slightly less power.

Sounds cool. Wonder it will be 4 door to 2 like past GTI Performance Editions.

I've heard that pricing is around 69K and that there are no discounts available as per previous limited edition runs.
