    Golf R First Service

    Hey guys,

My car is due for a service next month. I have a MY19 Golf R.

Any recommendations on where to take my car for a service in Sydney?

Or should I just take it into a VW Service centre?

Took mine to VW and had a bad experience 👎
Service was done, just wasn’t happy about the test drive.

Im due for another service towards the end of the year, but would rather not get it service at VW tbh. Any suggestions? I too am located in Sydney.

So many places in Sydney you could take it to. But Sydney is a huge place - where are you?

I'm located in Ryde. I don't mind the travel so long as they take care of my car.

    I've spoke to
    Mullerhaus
    Eurowerke (formally Hills Euro Haus)
    and VW Village.

All similar pricing for first service. Any chance they do better deals for forum members?

Doubt it but you can ask. None of them are affiliated with this forum. Pricing is normally around the $300 mark for a basic oil and filter change. Every 2nd and 4th service is more expensive as they do other things like a/c filter, brake fluid, Haldex fluid etc.

All 3x places you listed are reputable and used by other members on here.

I have been taking my Passat V6 (2012) to Autohaus Northshore in Hornsby for it’s last 4 services & an a/c compressor replacement. Great service every time & i reckon a good indicator of a good mechanic is it’s always full of euro’s in for service.
