I am a fan of the 7 speed it handles way more torque than the 6 speed and it does not hang on like grim death in sport mode or change up to quick in drive like the 6 speed does the only downside is it changes up to quick from 1st to 2nd in very slow traffic i just use manual mode and the paddles to keep it from slipping the clutch to much in 2nd when crawling along other than that minor issue its a great gearbox
For the most fun use the paddles tho
I would go a 2018 second hand premium diesel to get the led lights and other goodies over a 2019 petrol get a tune on it and its a amazing motor strong willing to rev the torque between 2 to 3k will put a smile on your face and from 3 to 4 it just takes off
I get 7.3 around town and 6.1 on the highway with elastic band type acceleration the torque just slingshots you
1st and 2nd are a little to short to really enjoy it unless you boot it but 3rd and 4th are a wall of overtaking torque and smiles 5th as well but thats like 130k+ so yeah at your own risk there (must admit to giving it a try on my recent trip and all i have to say is i wish we had a autobahn here so i could enjoy that rush of torque all the time)
The wagon is also great i was a hatch man but will never own a hatch again ( i hope) just so easy to cart **** around
Great car love mine to bits hope they have something similar when i upgrade
P.S get a set of paddle shifter extenders you won't regret it
P.M me if you want more info or if your in Melbourne a test drive
Good hunting Crowz
