5 months of ownership and I have no regrets so far.

However, it's been a bad month for me.
2 nights ago, some dude fired a paintball pellet on my left door, and it left two dents there due to the really hard impact. Unfortunately, I got used to the area and thought it was some kind of thing that hit the car that fell off a tree, so I didn't end up chasing the person down.
I'm trying to be in touch with some dent removalists (should be able to be done through the paintless dent removal method), but they seem to be closed today...???

Then a few weeks ago, I got a puncture on my rear right tyre. Strangely enough, tyre shops around me doesn't seem to have the same set of stock tyres (Goodyear EfficientGrip 225/45r18 95W - At most I found it with 91W and they're runflats..????)

Both of the above have been firsts with myself being in the driver's seat of a vehicle . Haha

Hope everyone's having fun with their Alltracks here!

That's not good to hear about the paintball...there are some real morons out there. Funnily enough, I got a puncture in the right rear not long after owning it but they were able to plug mine.

That's no good guys flat tires suck..

I am almost up on replacing my tyres been 38k now might break 45k so only 2 or 3 months with all the driving i do
Found the front wear a lot more than the rears rotated at 30k so should wear out at the same time

How is your tyre wear going?

Yeah, flat tyres stinks. I couldn't bear driving around with the space saver for a few weeks until they had the tyre I was looking for.
It gave me the opportunity to go tyre shopping. Swapped them out to Michelin Pilot Sport 4's. Very happy with that spontaneous decision.
I'm also curious to see how the Primacy would've performed.

I'm still very crossed with the dent on the door. If I damaged the car myself, then that's a different story.
Can't believe there're bafoons out there on the streets firing paintball pellets. What if they hit someone on purpose? I'm also thankful they didn't aim for the windows.

With that said, I'm a proud owner of a Golf Alltrack that took a bullet for me

On a side note, am I not seeing things, or does the Golf Alltrack does not come with a low washer fluid warning indicator?
I noticed reservoir was dry this evening, and out of curiosity, I referred to the owner's manual to understand how to troubleshoot.

The reservoir is tucked in deep, so you can't really tell how much washer fluid you have left.

I'm guessing the indicator is for the Golf GTI/Golf R.

Just a quick question I'm sure the Alltrack 135 TDI had the wet clutch 7-speed DSG now discontinued, does the current Alltrack 132 TSI use the wet clutch 6-speed DSG

Yes the 7 speed DSG is superior particularly overdrive cruise ability and improved economy, I was more concerned that they may have gone dry clutch DSG on the 132 TSI but this is not the case, definitely wet clutch?

Yes wet clutch indeed the dry clutch is only rated to 250nm torque and the 132tsi is 280nm so the wet clutch 6 speed is required they are rated to 340nm so you should have no issues
The 7 speed is rated to 380nm but the clutch's are way oversized i have been informed mine has 480 nm and is working just fine with no issues after 18 months of being tuned

They are still making it but I doubt we'll see the tdi Golf Alltrack here again. The Passat Alltrack is the last regular type diesel car being sold here at the moment but it's no longer available to build and price on the VW website. If you want VW diesel from now on, it's the Touareg, Amarok or one of the commercial vehicles.
