Golf Alltrack 1.8tsi service intervals

Bit of a basic question - but does anyone know the cost schedule for servicing an Alltrack TSI? Just doing a bit of forward budgeting but can’t seem to find any resources online. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Best way to save some money is to take it to a good independent VW/Euro car specialist rather than VW. You need to service the Haldex every 30-40,000km on these cars as the filter gets blocked and then you ruin the AWD system. VW do not list the Haldex filter as a serviceable item, but it is and needs to be cleaned when the Haldex oil is changed.

1st service = oil change
2nd service = oil change + brake fluid + pollen filter
3rd service = oil change
4th service = oil change + brake fluid + pollen filter + air filter + gearbox oil + Haldex
5th service = same as 1st service
6th service = same as 2nd service + spark plugs
7th service = same as 3rd service
8th service = same as 4th service

Just to add some additional info for those playing at home... And the new owners that will have many questions.

- Scheduled servicing is 12mth or 15,000kms (whichever comes first).

My partners alltrack has developed a diff/haldex issue at 125k .... looking into the service records despite being serviced in it's early life at the VW dealer (up to 30k), and then subsequently at another VW dealer from 60k - 120k services (last 5), the haldex has never been serviced.

Anyone had to replace the rear diff or haldex in a 2016 Golf Alltrack ?

More diagnostic info required before jumping in - would be surprised if the diff is gone.

It could be "just" a seized pump. Unfortunately, not unusual on vehicles which have not had the haldex filter cleaned - it clogs with muck, starves the pump of oil and it seizes.

A 'factory' haldex services involves changing the fluid - but not cleaning (or changing) the filter.

I get my car serviced by my VW/Audi specialist mechanic every 12 months and approx 14,000-15,000km's travelled, and in between those 12 month services I do my own oil and oil filter change + check over. So every 6 months and approx 7,000km the car gets fresh oil and a new oil filter and a check over. My mechanic thinks I am crazy for doing it, but the $100 or so it costs me to do my own oil change gives me piece of mind that the car is in fantastic mechanical condition and the chance of expensive mechanical failures will be reduced.

Lightens your wallet so car will go faster, With respect to Lucas why spend money if the manufacturer thinks its ok as they say. After all overseas its at least twice as long between services and havent seen many say its detrimental. Ours that only does low K's per year has just had its 30k service cos time is up and car has only done 4800km Service pack luckily
