Golf 7 Revealed by Euro Media (low res) Spoiler alert

    5.30am CST & 6.00am EST

This makes me me angry that a media outlet has revealed the Golf prior to VW unveil.

I have only linked these images as I don't want everyone to be spoiled

If you choose to wait until Wednesday for the HQ images don't click on the links.

True, I guess in some way it is the manufacturers fault for giving the images in the first place.

Maybe it's part of VW's marketing to leak a bit just before launch. To create a bit of hype? Stir interest? Or put expectations in perspective as the mk vii looks so close to the previous on the external surface. I'm loving the front face. Especially with those hid lights with continuous looking LEDs.

I don't like hatchbacks but I like looking at the golf to see what I should expect in the next jetta.

I am expecting a front that looks closely to the Touareg's.
I won't be disappointed with the interior for sure; I trust the Germans!
I'm only hoping they do nail the rear design. Alfa Rome Guilietta is the one to
    beat in that area!

A German mate translated the main points of the article linked to above:

    [spoiler]
    1) NOBLE. The new Mk7 will have the best interior quality in its category, electronic parking brake as an optional equipment, sports seats...

    2) LIGHTER. It will be max. 100 kg lighter than its predecessor and it is as light as MkIV. (1050 kg)

    3) SAFER. VW has equipped the new Golf with lots of advanced driver assistance systems such as pre-crash system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, driver drowsiness detection (Fatigue detection system) and so on. /those systems are actually pretty basic nowadays. :p

    4) AGILE. VW says the that new generation is more comfortable and sportier as well than the previous Golf. The electronic differencial XDS is now standard on all versions.

    5) EFFICIENT. It is 23% more efficient than the old one. 1.4 TSI 140hp: 4.8L/100 km, 1.6 TDI? 105hp: 3.8L/100 km. /Auto Motor und Sport says that 1.2 TSI will be the basic engine.

    6) BIGGER. It is 5.6 cm longer (4260 mm), 1.3 cm wider (1800), wheelbase is 2637 mm. Also, there is more space in the interior.

    7) MORE PRACTICAL
