    only drivers side .... noticed few more MK7 Golfs with similar gap (I am sure it is not by design) can you, please check your car ... not sure can it result in water leaking
    The plastic part snaps under the edge of the windshield glass. Just snap it in place or have the dealer service do it for you.

    I have a similar gap too on my MY13 90TSI. Service people at Bryan Burt VW said that it wouldn't be an issue. Haven't noticed any water getting in, but interested to know what your dealer says MIRSAD.

    I was told same thing - nothing to worry... but fortunately service manager was intrigued so he (after opening boot) started pushing "plastic" in all direction and he fixed it.

    I did try to push the clips back in a while ago, but didn't try very hard. Guess I will have a go again this weekend...

    mine has the same thing....quite a big gap actually. Need to take it to the dealer soon
