I have some folding mirrors (inc switch) up for sale. Brand new in box unused, these are non DAP2 versions. Mirrors are electric folding and have puddle lights.

Cost me $700+, selling for $600.

    Part numbers are:
    Left Mirror 5G2 857 507 CA 9B9
    Right Mirror 5G2 857 508 AJ 9B9
    Switch 5G0 959 565 AA ICX

You paid $1150 for the mirrors/door modules/labour, or did you install them yourself? Does Autofidelity also do software tweaks? (hoping to get a few things done there too - VW Central charge a flat $55 fee for this).

Edit...Just noticed you have an R wagon, which means you would've already had the door modules....I've got to pay an extra $350 for these modules.
Depending on your VIN some cars support the folding mirrors without the need for upgrading door modules, unfortunately some of the newer Golf R's we have seen come with Door Modules that do not contain the correct PR-codes necessary to support folding function. We like to ensure each customer is provided with the correct honest advice. We simply don't want to just sell you Folding Mirrors & the switch and send you off on your way. Despite the revision being B,C,D,E they need to have the correct colour code associated. The later generation door modules also cost more than a revision B set of door modules for vehicles prior to November 2014.

We charge a flat $200 for labour of the folding mirrors, which includes the VCDS coding.

I hope this sheds some light.

Very nice, what was the overall install price?

Anyone know of an installer in Sydney?

Doesn't support Blind Spot Assist - you need extra sensors etc. for that to work, & you'd struggle to find anyone willing to do that; liability etc.

Beside the mirrors, how many extra parts did you need for BSA???
