    Enkei rpf1

    Hi...would Enkei RPF1's 18 x 9 + 35 fit safely under a Mk7 GTI PP with standard suspension?

Thinking of moving to 18's for a better ride and less pothole paranoia.

They’ll fit well on the inside, but poke out a ****load more than stock - 8.5 ET45 is the sweet spot, anything more aggressive means a noticeable poke

Have a look at an online calc for exact differences to your current wheels

What size tyres are you going to use? 235/40/18 will have a fair bit of stretch on a 9” rim

Thanks for the info Shauno, I saw this setup on a Mk 6R yesterday and yes there was considerable poke, I thought maybe there would be less on a Mk7. I currently run + 44 which as you say is perfect.
