    Enable Disable Cornering Light

    Hi,

It's possible to disable cornering light on car menu?

Or it's just possible on VAGCOM? Is there any way to show an option on screen to enable or disable cornering light?

    Thanks.
    Best Regards,

It's just a question, it doesn't mean that I want to. Just wanted to know if there's option.

Do you mean the low power light from the side of the car? Or the Dynamic Cornering lights (Xenon bulbs)?

If it’s the former, check in the Car settings.

If it’s the latter, then use the DCC system to switch to Eco Mode for the Dynamic Cornering Lights (under the Individual settings).

(I only found this out after a year of running them in Eco and then suddenly realising I’d never seen the lights move!).

I'm talking about the fog light as corner light. Also when I put reverse gear it light up fog light. It's possible to disable via infotainment?

Yeah, so there may be a setting for that in the Car menu (under lights). I can’t remember 100% but I think I saw something there.

If not, it’s a VAGCOM thing to sort out.

So in the Car menu, it also has the controls for Dynamic Cornering Lighting but it seems to be different to the controls in the DCC menus (even though they are labelled the same). So either they do different things or in my car (a 7R) the DCC overrides the Car menu.

As it was morning, I couldn’t tell. I will play with it tonight.

Well I don't have xenon. Only fog light as cornering.

I think I saw somewhere option to turn off fog light when reverse... now I can't find it.

OK, so I checked in my system and the settings I have are directly related to the Dynamic swivelling Xenon headlights and I can’t deactivate the fog light illumination feature.

So it sounds like it’s a VAGCOM thing.
