Hey all,
Just wanted to check in to see anyone else has this challenge. I'm finding the door stops on the car at very inconvenient positions from what i remember on our MK 6 golf. There are 2 stops when the door is opened, the first is way to close for me to comfortably get out (clearly i need exercise) and the second stop is at it's widest full opening. I sat in a friends audi and noticed he had 4 stop positions for the door swing.
I've nearly door'ed a few cars at carparks and scrapped the hell out of the bottom of my own door on a kerb because i'm just not used to the lack of a more reasonable opening stop - and if on an incline it will swing all the way open.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to those celebrating.

When we bought ours , the salesperson made a point of showing us that between the two stops the doors will "stay"anywhere within reason. We like it. Hope you do too.
