    You missed the point a bit though as when oil is poured into an engine it starts its service life of usage. Doesnt matter what the dealer sets it at If the vehicle took 6 months from the factory to sell, the oil is still 6 months old. Dealer can set what they like doesnt alter the fact that the oil was put in the engine 6 months ago

    There is a lot of myth and BS spouted about oils and how often they should be changed with little or no fact to back any of it up.
