    DCC golf r mk7

    Hi everyone.

Just wanted to see if anyone had a hard time discerning the difference between each dcc setting.

On individual mode, i have been switching between sport and comfort but cant feel any difference.

Planning to get it checked, can anyone chime in? Has anyone had dcc issues? I have seen on other forums there should be a night and day difference.

    Thanks,
    Pat

Yes i run individual with comfort around town , definately nicer over pot holes ,more roll on corners, i also deaden the sound aktor at the same time , just like a tame 110tsi .
Out on the B roads just love sport , firm but not harsh , unlike my girls A200 its a jiggly hard ride around town .

Do you notice a difference when you select Race mode ? On mine it is quite noticeable, much softer on comfort (better for bumpy roads but a bit roly-poly on corners), but significantly stiffer and less body roll when in Race mode.

I haven't noticed any DCC issues on my R.

Go up a gutter/curb of a driveway in different modes and see if you can tell the difference.

    Very noticeable difference IMO

    Thanks for the replies!
I think the easiest thing to do is the driveway thing and test it out.
Seems like I am just going crazy haha

I notice a reasonable difference between the different modes. Comfort is definitely softer (not the springs, but the damping), also the steering feels lighter on comfort than normal or race modes. There is definitely more body roll on comfort, not a lot, but it is there.

I tend to use individual mode around town with everything set to comfort except the steering, which is set to race. I like the feel of the heavier steering.
