Ok, a little bit of background on getting this working. First up you need a mib2 with mirrorlink – therefore you have to have an android phone. I don’t know how this can be done with an iphone.

For torque you need a have an elm327 bluetooth adapter (can be had cheap on ebay). To get the app on screen you use mirrorlink and then enter google maps, once up hit the home button and this will bring up your phone screen – you can then open up the torque app. The one extra trick is to enable video while in motion, you need obd11 for this. There is an app within obd11 to enable video in motion and you need to select the mirrorlink option when you enable this. That’s basically it. If you are running a jb1 the boost will be the ecu value, not jb value.

For jb4 app you need to have the jb4 bluetooth module that is a replacement for the cable. (and a lot more expensive) Otherwise it’s the same, get to home screen and boot up the app. Once up you can view gauges, log, change maps & setting etc. The only trick with this is to ensure you disconnect the jb app before you shut off the car, mine does weird stuff if I don’t.

This is all going to look extra nice when I swap my screen to the 8” next week!

The people listed above have not made their orders, therefore, their codes will be released to the people next in line. I'm sorry!

I see. I got almost all peripherals (elm327 BT, OBD11, android) but the stupid Nexus phones don't allow for mirror-link i think, just android auto. Can find another phone to try though.

    Thanks for the nice instructions!
