For those ordering the JB1 here is how I seated my unit you may find this useful I think plug 'A' at the rear is no longer necessary. I used 'Hook and Loop Adjustable Tape' to tie the cable at shown in the photo. It will be necessary to remove the lower engine cover to get to plug 'D' best use ramps or a hoist, don't jack up the car and crawl under without stand supports.

Given the rig morale associated with installation what are you guys are planning to do when you are getting vehicle serviced? Remove or leaving connected?

I will be removing it. It's only 30mins a year to limit any kind of awkward conversations.

Ditto this. Otherwise better to get an ecu tune and run the warranty gauntlet perhaps.

Once a year to pull the belly pan and crawl under the car is not a big deal. Was sufficient for me to justify buying one if those convertible work stool/garage crawlers from supercheap... 😄

It's easy to remove just had my 15K service took it off a few days before and put it back the day after. It will take an hour if you take your time. For the power transformation it's a minor task once a year in my case.

Anyone know a place in Sydney that you could rent a hoist, so that I can get quick and easy access to underneath the engine bay.

I think most guys here are over thinking it here... install is super easy. Invest in some low profile ramps or drive one side of the car on the kerb which will give enough crawl space to get under.

Don't stress!! AutoIntruct will be releasing an install video very soon. I will share it here with everyone once the video becomes available.
