    Brake choices

    Hello fellow Dubbers.

Wanting to have some information regarding brake options for a Golf R.
The current brakes look dull and the pads as everyone knows dust up the wheels.

What brake rotors and pad setups is everyone running on their golfs??

I have had a look at harding performance but their brake options are way to $$$, DBA appear to be very affordable but unsure if they are any good....

As per above, get the ATE Ceramics. ATE discs, too.

Don't worry about DBA, Remsa, and all that other rubbish. You'll never be happy with it once the novelty wears off.

Yep i can give ate ceramic pads a big +1 just using the pressure wash is enough to keep the wheels clean

Also pedal feel is lovely and progressive i love the feel of them as for rotors go with what you like but good quality not cheap Chinese knock offs i used zimmerman rotors and they are good dba t3 or 4 maybe? or just go ate

Remember bedding in with ceramic pads is a longish progress (500 to 1000km) but worth it

Don't forget to get new rotors everytime you replace ceramic pads
