    That's interesting kure69.

Getting a DSG in the base model only adds $1000 to the price but getting it in the Comfortline it adds $3000. Should be $2500 in both. Is there a printing mistake? in manual form in both they have added $1500 to the manufacturer's listed price so what the customer is basically getting is free dealer delivery. In QLD the registration / 3rd party insurance / stamp duty comes to just over $1400.

I also notice their list of specs says the low tyre pressure indicator comes with the Comfortline yet my base model has it.

I don't get why they list the RVC on the comfortline when 2 dealers in Brisbane said that it doesn't come with it anymore ..... am I going to pick my car up and be surprised that it actually has it ? , I ordered mine last month got it for 27k drive away in dsg

My white Comfortline DSG with floor mats and mudflaps was $28775 on road in WA. I also secured the 3 year free servicing and 5 yr drivetrain warranty (contracted to buy a couple of months ago). I was pretty happy with that all up.

I've just bought a 90TSI Comfortline with the RVC. The way it was explained to me by two different dealers is that when VW originally released the MkVII, they only planned for the 90TSI Comfortline to include the RVC as standard. A few months later (as of Sept. 13 and coinciding with their Volksfest promotion in Vic, at least) and they have seemingly reconsidered, releasing an *additional* model without the RVC for $1,000 cheaper.

Both dealers had differing opinions on whether VW will eventually discontinue the RVC as standard (and therefore drop the price by $1,000), but of course keeping it available as an option.

I bought a brand new 90TSI manual in Limestone grey for $22,500 driveaway in mid-August, picked it up two weeks later.

Sounds like you've all done pretty well. I payed $38800 for a TDI highline with driver assist, sunroof and euro plates back in may. Won't arrive to late oct. I think It worked out to about $3200 off. I thought I did ok until I saw the recent price. Saying that though, if I ordered the same car now I may not take delivery until Xmas.

Volksfest price only covers cars in stock and delivered before the end of october, so a factory order wouldn't apply anyway
