Best Price for Golf MK VII (Australia)

Hey all,
the passat my family bought last July is fantastic, avg 8.5L/100km over 100k mainly in suburban trips.
Beside it asked for engine oil only after 9 months.

looking forward to get a 103TSI with all options except alarm.(RRP ~$45,000)
anyone would like to share their drive away price and experience during the negotiation?
should i get the best price for the car first, and then the options? or get the price as one?

I've seen people saying (ref: http://whrl.pl/RdCEmM)
not sure if its true but sounds crazy, RRP would be around $45,000.
also the volksfest doesnt show much discount for the 103TSI model $35,490, $35,990 for the TDI but there is a $2,500 difference between RRPs.

Hi, ordered my 103TSI Highline in the first week of June and got all options except alarm. negotiated the price with options and have mats and boot liners thrown in to seal the deal. got it for $41,000. Hope it helps!

Yea go for it. I think I read someone had tint added around that price too. Depends what you want. Sad thing is I'm still waiting for it though the end is near. ETA 11/11 into Australia. Looking forward to it. Good luck with yours!

ordered one today.
At $40,600, all options except alarm, pacific blue. Included scuff plates but nothing else. Tried to push under 40k but didn't work!

Another reminder it pays to shop around.

I eventually talked a dealer down on the entry 90TSI Golf with DSG. $22,990 inc. metallic paint (sunset red).

Picking it up this Saturday
