Yes, I found that out as well.

Am giving it a couple more days for the leak to fully appear in the die. Then will be going back to VW Australia with a series of difficult questions. Including the licence number of the A/C tech who did the work.

The dash cam showed the bonnet up for a total of round 30 min. It apparently takes a min of 45 to completely evacuate the system and recharge from scratch.

I think that's an urban myth. Plenty TV shows do it. Current affair etc.

Maybe so, but is that more because they don't want you to record any incompetent work and/or over-enthusiastic "test drives", rather than the official reason of protecting the privacy of their employees ?

This is NOT so if recording a crime. This is Australia NOT the USA. There are examples of this every night on the NEWS. One of the significant reasons for the royal commission into Aged care is the number of videos of the elderly being mistreated.

I dont have a VU light to check but its obvious the A/C is not a cold and fast to start up as it was a week ago.

Do you have a thermometer? Check the temperature of air coming out the vent when AC is on.
