Same question i ask every tuner as all they seem to show is kw and torque/tractive effort....

How much boost do you run on your Golf tunes?

20 odd kw is a decent gain on a standard car if it runs no more boost, but if its had another 3/4psi screwed into it then its basically what you would have to expect if you know what i mean

Whilst there is a small boost pressure adjustment, significant gains can be had via optimized fuel and timing. Its really is a combination of whats best for each individual car.

I have a very late 2011 model 132TSI DSG Tiguan i am looking at tuning in the next 6 months or so.

Given its a daily driver it has to last for 100,000k's plus so i am only after something that gets me a bit more safe power, more so in the low to mid end of the tune. Of course i am going to get gains in the top end as well but its not my main intention for getting it tuned. It may end up with a rear muffler and an intake but thats where it will have to end

Do you guys look at these results ?

Great to see activity but not if it's all a bit pointless ?

Most of us want the full story of boost, AFRs and torque and preferably as logs.

Edit - last chart as an exanple
