In the last couple of weeks I sold my old mk3 and joined the darkside. Bought this on monday, is a 1986 e30 325i (imported from europe in '99). It's definintely a brilliant little car, loving every moment of driving it at the moment!
heres my other car...unfortunately returned her to stock but did have an ESS TS2 supercharger, coilovers and a Brembo BBK just to name a few mods haha

2014 Golf GTI PP - Pure White
Looks great Ben.
I'm guessing no build thread on this.
08 Golf GTI - SOLD
Thanks guys. Yeah definintely not going to be a build thread for it, not on any Australian forums atleast. Going to keep what I do to it a bit more personal this time after everything that happened last time
Hot as f*ck Ben! I looove the E30's.
One day when I can I'll be getting my E36 M3
thanks! this e30 almost feels more modern than my last mk3, power windows/sunroof and icy cold aircon... is hard to believe it's almost 10 years older. might actually make a thread yet as I plan on keeping this one much more legal. megasquirt and such may be in the near future

95' MK3 VR6 - SOLD
I also have a BMW as my other car. It's a 2000 E46 330ci convertible and has served me very well for the last 2.5 years.
I've had to put it up for sale (2000 BMW 330Ci E46 Convertible) to fund the GTI and will probably get a second car for track duties as I was always concerned about putting the E46 into a wall.
One of the biggest differences (apart from it being rwd and a coupe) I've noticed is the amount of standard stuff the E46 came with, and the extremely good fit and finish compared to the mk5 GTI I have now. That isn't to say that the fit and finish of the GTI is bad by any means, the BMW was just better!
