What do you mean by doesn't work? I was playing with porches and m5s up and down the M1.

In terms of fitting, slight massaging of the trans tunnel, E30.de engine mounts, shortened shift mech and e36 328 drive shaft to a z3 3.15lsd.

I was probably one of the first to get it working and driving in the UK. There's lots of people in the UK that can attest to it working.

it will never work like it came out of the factory, almost every time you need to sacrifice something like aircon, PS, etc

i recently replaced the centre bearing and guibo on my e30 and after that it felt like its towing a trailer!! Took the driveshaft off 4 times, checked everything, made sure its aligned properly and still the same!! Till my dad suggested the handbrake was too tight and after i loosened it the car is not struggling anymore!! Drove me crazy for a month!!

Parents had a 320i E30. Nice car. These modern cars have nothing on the ride and cabin quietness of the late 80's BMW.

They now own a E39 540i. Very impressive car. Has plenty of power but still gets 8-9L per 100k. Nice fora 4.4 V8

My dads had a couple of M3's and an M5 over the years... Loved the M3's (an E36 and an E46) but hated the complexity of the M5 (it was an E90) and sold that to buy an E63 AMG, I miss the M3's and wish I had some photos of them

Well, I managed to get it all in and worked better than factory. Even without servo assist ( a sacrifice I wanted to make as I was running m3 brakes) it was miles better than my m20b25! Handled better to boot!

Just picked up my Golf last week, so sadly my beloved 318is will have to go to a new home. Wasn't fast at all, but as you all know absolutely beautifully balanced car. It's the slowest car I've driven but also the most fun. Unfortunately I need my car for work and a coupe just isn't practical.

Maybe one day though I'll get another E36..but it'll have to be the M3 with 6 speed box
