I see they are doing FB specials as well atm.

Boltor - a GTI owner has had one of their quad tip exhaust systems on for a few weeks now and said it sounds damn good. No drone, stockish off power and good sounding, on power

Edit - any DP will increase noise over stock. I've also noticed a DP does change the tone of the exhaust as well

Hi Boltor - do you mean our VARdesign TBE or the DP ?

The DP's - best way of explaining is this:

2.5 is actually 2.75 from the turbo into a 2.5 on the exit of the cat and cat link up to the stock catback (or our 2.5 catback). The 2.5 is a lovely smooth power gain, but less so than the larger pipes. There is no extra noise over stock.

3.0 perfect for most medium levels of mods, or can go straight o 3.0" on its own. 3.0 is from the turbo, and continues 3" through. can also bolt straight up to the stock catback though, or our catbacks. bigger pipe means bigger gains in KW. Noise is marginally increased on a larger DP pipe, but barely noticeable, and it's kind of at the engine end, rather than the exit of exhaust end.

3.5 aimed at the higher number seekers. Technically speaking too large a pipe can mean reduced low down torque, but given we generally put out more torque than other market leaders it wouldn't matter too much given the other benefits. That being said the pipe has been designed to not lose anything, and give the largest punch to mid and top revs. Really these pipes will be linked to our Viezu Racing arm and we advise vRace files, 3.5" DP (3.5 from the turbo, the 3" by the end) meets perfectly to our 3" catback, which will give the most superior performance, but a true 3" system will be louder.

w dont' go down the resonated or non-resonated set ups, we offer different pipe sizes, different combinations, and our 3" catback will have an option for bi-modals too so chilling around town can be more sedate, and when you kick it in the guts it'll release full noise... and performance.

all are 304ss, a choice of tips from billet, 304ss, titanium or carbon, 10mm flanges, poloished, mandrel bent, Tig welded, polished, and can be sprayed pretty much any colour to match your car or requirements, or can be ceramic coated. Ceramic coating on the DP's helps with controlling the temps, thus the gas velocity, but also can help reduce the temps soaking into the engine bay.

    Hope that helps,

    Cheers

Can you offer a timeline and approximate specs and pricing for 2012 Petrol Tiguans?

Is it safe to assume the TBE, CAI and ECU tunes mirror the Golf Rs in street trims?

    Thank you and Congratulations !

    Hi Tiggy

The Tigs are going to get the same treatment... in fact they're currently undergoing development and more test fits now for another two weeks. Lots of options for these - from TBE, FMIC, big brake kits, DP/CAI / rear diffuser to accept our quad exit pipes like the GTi's.....

Will keep everyone up to date as it all comes available

Damn... VIEZU and VARdesign = HOT

Note this was a test fit - the piping is black, not blue....

    Orders being taken soon.

You all wanted us to develop the best CAI on the market.

    So we did.

And a Carbon engine cover to go with it.

not "the best.........*bang for buck", but actually the best.

(Best bang for buck would be our simple VARdesign intake filter element at a whopping $139. These are available now to Viezu customers new and old for $99)

The fact we're able to price point it so attractively is merely a bonus because of our sheer brand power, and working in direct alliance with our manufacturers. It'll be well under $1000 rrp with launch specials - especially for VIEZU customers old and new.

So the newest largest brand is now out, and yet it's through the oldest most respected manufacturer in Australia.

    Quality is a given.

    Stunning looks.

    Stunning performance gains.

Prices to be confirmed next week.

    Please email enquiries.

Only available through authorised Viezu Dealers in Australia.

    VARdesign is here.
