Forge quick shift fits 9N3 GTI, some MK4 chassis and some MK5 and 6, 6 speed manuals.

Do you know if this fits 02A boxes - they say early VAG 5 Speed - so you'd assume so, but there's no mention of VR6 etc. I already have one, just never installed it, was gonna put it in the MK1. I was thinking of doing the 02J shifter converstion anyways.

Comes with 3 different pins, one of which is the right one.

dunno. I was pretty keen on the diesel geek one up until now have you tried both and recommendation? my gearbox is starting to feel a little loose on (bit of left right movement when its in gear) was going to see if a short shift would help a bit and a bit of an upgrade while I'm there.

I doubt you would come across many that have tried Forge and Diesel Geek on the same car. There's nothing wrong with the one for the polo.

It depends where the slack in your gearchange is, most likely neither will fix worn out linkages.
