for people not sure which is which. Below is a pic of the two different designs. Discount the mention of plastic as the MY09 mount can be either plastic or metal depending on which car you have.

and another pic of the MY09 mount. This time its metal instead of plastic.

Just received a shipment of the new BFI Stealthline MK3 mounts. These are positioned between stock mounts and the very popular 0.5s. Although they are an upgrade from OEM mounts they really are designed for people that are concerned about comfort.

I have also fiiiiiiinaaaallly received another shipment of the 10mm 5x100/112 spacers so they are back in stock again after being out for months! Keep in mind that these are designed to work with OEM VAG wheels. So may not be compatible with aftermarket setups.

I may be interested in a set of 5mm's, why are these an issue with some aftermarket wheels Tim? Are you suggesting they won't work with cars using hub-centric spacers for example?

5mm is fine as they are not wheel centric. They are only hub centric. On a 5mm spacer there should still be some of the spiggot poking through to mount on the centre bore of the wheel

If you look at the 10mm spacers the wheel centric part is ramped instead of just a straight step. If you have a look at the back face of an OEM wheel it matches that ramp nicely.

Hub centric rings wont really match up properly unfortunately.

This thread has been a bit quiet of late. Over the coming weeks there will be some new products added to the site and the long awaited return of some old favourites as a shipment is already on its way from Germany.

Just a small one for today but an upgrade that all the cool kids are doing.
VW in their wisdom have released an much improved piston style diverter valve as seen on the new generation TSI engines.
Thankfully its also a drop in replacement for the less than satisfactory diaphragm style unit found on the TFSI engines which was prone to tearing which leads to boost leaks, which leads to poor performance, which then leads to you being a sad. I cant bear the thought of any of you being sad.. Sooo here she is. Stocks are limited so dont think about it too long.

BFI have recently released their range of uprated engine mounts for the MKV GTI. Now it is possible to replace both the engine side and gearbox side mounts with something a little more aggressive that wont break down quite as quickly as the OEM mounts.

This mount will completely replace your old, tired, hydraulic engine-side motor mount. The weakest of the 3 engine mounts, the passenger side is fluid filled by Volkswagen/Audi to aid in creating a softer, cushier ride.
This softness is a detriment to performance and overall longevity as the fluid within the mount can often cause premature failure. We eliminate this possibility by replacing the mount completely with our proprietary bushing and bracket design.

Maximizing bushing area to minimize vibration where possible gives our mount the advantage of having the best ride characteristics possible from a urethane bushing mount.

Stage 1 with its 65a durometer bushings are geared towards the spirited enthusiast who wants better control over motor movement without the sacrifice of excessive vibrations. Its our recommendation for all 4cyl street cars.

Upgrade your transmission mount and put more power to the ground while experiencing smoother shifting. Black Forest Industries polyurethane inserts are a direct replacement for those soft OEM pieces and really make a noticeable difference. Fits MKV 2.0T Stage1 65a poly inserts vs. the stock (45a)inserts are 50% stiffer than stock. Will increase some vibration in cabin - especially during clutch friction point.

Also have some engine mount options for the mk1 boys.

mk1 4 piece motor mount kit.

BFI MK1 Stage 1 Performance Motor Mount Kit

This Performance Motor Mount kit includes 3 complete motor mounts- the Upper Transmission Mount, the Front Motor Mount, and the Passenger Side Motor Mount. This kit is a substantial upgrade over stock in terms of performance. All three matched mounts are cast from highly durable 65 A durometer polyurethane. The Passenger and Upper Transmission mount are made using two-piece construction for ease of installation and utilize a machined sleeve to prevent binding. This is the only kit like this on the market and it is designed with complete performance in mind.

aaand one for the mk4 boys that are tooo lazy to press in their own dogbone mounts.

Save time and stress by installing these preassembled dogbones. These are brand new factory mounts with BFI's Stage 1 dogbones inside. Just unbolt your old factory mount and bolt this one in place. No need to mess with a vice, or worry about disassembling the old

*may not come with BFI letting

A new shipment of the revision D diverter valves has just arrived after previously selling out very quickly. I have done my best to bring the price down a peg as well!! (appologies to the people who had previously purchased)
