Rear ended s3 on gumtree for 3k

Hey audiers.
There's a rear ended s3 1999 model with 165k and 8 months rego on gumtree

Rear bumper support looks straight still. Impact was higher.

Reckon it could be pulled. Put an a3 bumper, lights , hatch in. And drive it as a rough , 4 thousand dollar s3. ??

Depends mate they had a few engine variants in the 8L range, if your looking at the comparable year A3,

From memory they had a 1.6, 1.8, 1.8 Turbo (in earlier S3's engine code amk,bam and apy from memory). But there were A3's kicking around with the 1.8l Turbo option with the highest output being 165kw (bam), again from memory. As far as i am aware they didnt have the option of the 2.0 or 2.0 turbo in the 8L A3 range.

The 8P range, current range has engines from 1.2 litre (not in australia yet i dont think) to 3.2 v6
