    Buying an A3 >2005

    Hi guys,

Ok so quick lowdown, between now and the end of the year I am thinking of selling my Accord Euro and downgrading to an a3 preferably around the 10k-12k price region. Love my Euro and have spent a few k modding it, however times have changed. I've always driven JDM cars, so this would be my first euro car.

I don't know much about the a3 and the different variants so if you guys could help me out that would be great! I am not looking at modding this car FYI. Also if there have been any known model specific problems and just general advice I should be wary of if I were to purchase the car.

    Thanks guys!

you could buy an 8p with a 1.6 engine and probably high k's with that price range and it will be difficult to find a clean example. Sure you will be driving an audi but it won't be the most enjoyable car, there usually trouble free.

That would be great, however this car has to be an automatic.

So in general they are pretty reliable cars?

They are pretty awesome cars man. I bought my 1.8t 1998 model for $9k and it was awesome!! If you click on my profile, you can see the progressions I've had with my cars, and how I have modded them. They have huge tuning potential and can be a really nice, clean car !
