not normally what you'd see on an Audi but the wheels are on and off that often these days it a pretty sensible choice...

i finally got it fitted at the weekend, it was quite a mission but its on now and hopefully holds together on the next track day...



looks pretty flashy and well built but I'm a bit nervous of the installers ability so I'll take it out for a shake down before hand to make sure it doesn't spew oil everywhere...



i'm not that impressed for a supposed wonderfully designed piece of kit that the 8AN fittings hit the cooler housing so i had to add an extra washer...

thats what I thought at first mate and I had the hose pointing slightly upwards which provided clearance but when I tried fitting it to the car the hose was clashing with the oil filter housing...

I had to remove it again then give this a go. it looks like its holding oil on tick over so far but need to get up to temp and under load to see how good a job I did...

I also had to back off the fitting with the 8 on it by about a 10th of a turn so it didn't clash the first time around then forgot to nip it up once I added the extra washer, fingers crossed its all good...

the kit contains 2 extra washers so I'm not sure if its for this purpose or just coincidence, also I wonder if the bolts have 'L' for long and are longer for the extra washer...

i gave the carpet a clean at the weekend, i'm not sure if everyone removes the seats to do this...



while the seats were out i decided to replace them...



they're a bit snug, i will have to watch the pie intake now these are in...

Find anything nice? I've found half a bottle of water and a lighter so far under my Z4 seats

yes mate, by the time I'd added the subframe, rails and seat mount it wasn't as light as I'd hoped for...

schroth harness for the track but still has lap sash for the load...

I'm looking at doing a seat myself soon. Thought I better ask

I've ended up ordering a harness bar as the compliance chap said that its not ideal with harness straps coming down at 45 deg on fibreglass seat. if the sheet hits the fan then it could break the seat he reckons...

therefore I have ordered one of these bad boys...
