Good to see its all back together. Looks tuff with the all black front end. How does it drive with all the new gear?
yes mate, came from the uk. was a good price i reckon and the ford boys rave about them. AmD actually deal with the airtec coolers too as a far as i know.

trying hard to toughen up the looks of the placid audi, front and rear camber happening this week too which i'm hoping will help.

not so good at the moment, got a boost leak which i strongly suspect is at the throttle body pipe from the bsh charge pipe. i'm not that impressed with the quality of the bsh kit to be honest. nuespeed was spot on and maybe should have gone for the nuespeed charge pipe too. the bung for water/meth and silicone hose sold me on the bsh, regret it a bit now.

heard you had some fitment issues with this, any advice please?

Apart from being a tight fit, ive had absolutely zero issues with the charge pipe. Apart from the weld line, im happy with the quality of it too.

Check your discharge pipe where it connects to the metal pipe adapter with the circlip (near the sump) to make sure the rubber real isnt pinched/out of place. Put some lubricant (engine oil) on it. The rubber seal was a army green sort of colour on mine. Apart from that, triple check all clamps are well placed and tight. Did you put thread tape on the water bungs before installing them into the charge pipe?

cool, thanks mate. never thought to check the discharge connection. i'll lube the seal and try again.

yep, ptfe tape on the threads, main thing i don't like about the charge pipe is no fittings to the motor like the oem unit (unless i got the wrong part?).

    thanks for the heads up...

No thats correct - the charge pipe doesn't have a support bracket like the OEM one did. Mines been in now since Jan this year and i havent had an issue with it. Im fussy as all hell, so if it was hitting/rattling etc on anything it would be coming off.
