damn you lucas, i've just decided i'm going to order both bushing kits. making me spend more cash…
how were they to install, do you really have to remove the battery?
not had chance to test either of them yet mate. literally headed off to work after installing both. first impressions of the shifter are good though. i have a dieselgeek on the a3 and not that keen myself for a daily driver. hoping the forge is just one step back from that, i'll let you know…
i'll will see how i like the quick shift but might try the bushings at a later date if you rate them...

How do you find the torque arm insert? Does it feel firm enough?
I've got a SPM solid mount + insert (in my s-tronic A3) and it still feels like there's too much movement at low rpm. Not vibration, but actual movement. I have a feeling one of the other mounts is gone though.

Haha sorry about that. I only ordered the Verdict bushes a few days ago, so cant comment on install yet as they are on a plane somewhere over the Pacific ocean. Im pretty sure ill be able to install them without removing the battery though. They get good feedback on improving shift feel from customers.
The 42DD bushes arent hard - but you need to remove the stock rubber bushes (cut them out with a stanley knife) and then fit the 42DD units.
^ that's pretty damn cute if you ask me
