Audi 1.9 SD engine info
Hi all ........ I'm putting an Audi 1.9 SD engine into a Mk 1 Golf. I noticed today that it has a G grind. I'm wondering if this might be the original cam fitted at the factory. This is the 1845 cc engine that runs 10.3 : 1 comp and puts out 110 bhp.
Cheers .... Geoff

Now that I've got the part number for that Cam I should be able to find the specs for it in the Bentley manual.
There's some interesting cross compatibility going on with the block though which might help you.
It seems the same basic block is suggested as a universal replacement for motors from 1.6L to 1.9L, I'm trying to clarify that, the parts listings can be cryptic.
