S3 deposit down, order in place.... Going to be a long 6 months!! Got all the options I wanted - PP but with standard seats in two tone leather. 70k drive away. They just wouldn't budge on the price unfortunately!
Love that they just handed me the keys to the demo and let me take it for a drive with my bestie. - Sales tactics at their best!
Damn I love that car though.

I'm amazed that you were able to get the electric seats with the PP. I tried asking two dealers and both told me no go. Hence going to have to recline the seats for my wife whenever she wants it reclined in the passenger seat (condition of getting the PP...)!

Our test drive was the same except that we have already ordered the car. I think we took it out for a good hour

They split the performance package up into individual items so that I could get the seats I wanted. Slightly higher cost in doing this but well.... I wasn't ordering it if I didn't get it the way I wanted
They did say at the start that it couldn't be done but after reading a bit on here and OZaudi, I knew I could get the magnetic ride as a standalone item so why not the whole PP.

Yes, from the list of standard and options, you can pretty much select each individual item that makes up the Sport Performance pack, ie magnetic ride, bang & olufsen sound system and so on.

Same here, I prefer the seats that comes with the S performance pack, but disappointed that you loose all the electronics adjust.

Lol Ryan - Audi owners seem to be more apple ppl to me too.... As I write this on my iPad but I have a samsung phone so guess I sit on the fence.
Would be good if the new build does come with that, fingers crossed, seeing I have a 5/6 month wait for my car to arrive!

Well Android is still an open platform so there's no reason to think there will be any less iPhone support, etc. I'm sure due to 'driver distraction prevention' it will be a limited system with a handful of navigation and music related apps made available, somewhat similar to the Ford Sync system in USA.
