S3 test drive = wow
Fully optioned s-tronic S3. Damn it was quick and responsive) Only thing I am not sure about is the seats :-/
Took a GTI for a spin afterwards (not comparable I know)....
Now it is a competition between my heart (S3) and my sensible brain (GTI). I should have just stuck with test driving the S3 lol

I am planning on replacing my GTI next year and find myself in the same position. be sensible or not.

Hey does anyone know what the go is with the silver roof rails on the s3? Do we get them in Aus or are they only Euro spec?All the pics from the reviews show the cars in Aus without them. Whats happening?

You can get them as a extra but dont come standard

S3 deposit down, order in place.... Going to be a long 6 months!! Got all the options I wanted - PP but with standard seats in two tone leather. 70k drive away. They just wouldn't budge on the price unfortunately!
Love that they just handed me the keys to the demo and let me take it for a drive with my bestie. - Sales tactics at their best!

Offered $61k drive away with a couple options.

Need to drive one to see if worth changing or just get into a B8 wagon instead!

Yup, as a good friend said to me, my happiness is priceless! Looked into the stamp duty/taxes in Perth and they are higher then else where in oz, so I am happy with what I paid. Would have loved to get them under 70k but oh well!


61k drive away is an amazing price ^^
