Im keen for the Bi-Xenons (HIDs) because there are a few reports from the UK forum that the Std head lights aren't that great.

Anyway the latest is the one with all the options is $46000 while I didn't expect that much, I knew it'd be up there.

So it's looking like the one with sat nav, rear park sensors and Off Road tech is going to be the one.

Im a bit disappointed I couldn't get at least park assist or Bi-Xenons as well but beggars can't be choosers.

Its going to be a lease vehicle any way so I'll see if I can go for a shorter term. 2 years maybe?

    Happy Days

What factory optional equipment did the WRX have?
I had a few extras but the only things that would have been fitted from the factory were factory tint windows and upgraded stereo. Everything else would have just bolted on.

With software security these days you'd think they could have the off road tech and park assist in place and activate it at customer request for a fee. It's not much more than software and sensors for the park assist and a button for off road tech.

I know some trucks get connected to the Internet and the tech logs in from the states to upgrade power settings. There's no change mechanically the customer pays for more power and it's just reprogrammed.

The latest is I have decided to order a Yeti with the options I want. I have been advised from the dealer I can expect a 16 - 20 week wait. I'll use the time to save the cash I would have been paying to the lease with then I'll use the saved cash to reduce the lease amount.

Out of interest I sent an email to another dealer just to make sure I was getting an Ok deal. I clearly stated the 4 options I wanted, Off Road Tech, Bi-Xenon head lights, Park Assist and Sound System. What do you know, yet another retarded dealer. Quotes Bi-Xenons and rear park sensors, that's it. I was wondering if he didn't know what Park Assist was?

And yet another Sales person funny. I went to AgQuip (farm field day) at Gunnedah, NSW. Talking to the sales women she starts telling me how the stability control works by changing the tyre pressures to regain traction on the Captiva. Sadest thing is, she probably sells cars.

    Happy Days.
