That's probably because the 112TSI is a 4x4. 77TSI is 4x2.
A relative of mine in Sydney is looking to buy a 77TSI 4x2 DSG in the current EOFY sale. She says the dealers she's spoken to don't seem to have them at the moment. Anyone out there know of any around?.

77TSI Carsales
Here is the list of available 77TSI versions according to Carsales. From my quick look, Trivett appears to have at least 2, Northshore has 1. Although a 77TSI for $32,777 at Northshore is high.

Yep thanks. It appears the dealers are trying to pass off MY2012 models as part of the EOFY runout sale which is really meant for MY2013 models. You'll notice there's no 2013s listed on Carsales. Deceptive really. The 2012 models should go for less than the advertised runout prices.
No. The model year begins on the production line in the July/August of the previous year. So a MY 12 car may be built anywhere from around July 2011 to around June 2012. Cars built in the financial year 2012/13 are generally MY 13. MY14 are about to begin production if not already being produced. Dealers are running out MY 12 cars now some of which could have been built close to 2 yrs ago.
The EOFY year release from Skoda does have separate prices for MY12 and current Yetis with the small print below...
† MY 12 vehicles are manufactured between June 2011 and May 2012
It's in the link at the top of the page on the Skoda AU site.
