The compliance plate it 03/13 and build 09/12. I've been assured by VW that it is a 2013. Does this mean it is incorrectly registered? Otherwise I don't see how they can advertise it as a 2013 and deliver a 2012. That appears to me as misleading.
Car Advice 101, if a car is built in 2012 - it is a 2012 car!!!
It maybe complied in 2013, registered in 2013 and warranty start in 2013, however is still a 2012 built car.
When you go to sell it, it will still be a 2012 built car to the next person...
