I got a quote for the 147 + electric seats + sports pack + sunroof in candy white (no met paint) for $42k driveaway. Reckon that's a good deal or can it be pushed further down?

Comfortline + Highline models yep (with the integrated puddle lamps).

Haven't bought a new car in awhile and I'm not too sure what the "usual procedure" in negotiating is like. You reckon asking for $40k drive away is pushing it?

No harm in trying. Do not feel shy to ask for more discount.

I went to another dealer yesterday to compare the price I got and they would not offer any discount as the car is new to the market, they told me to come back in 1-2 months to try make a deal..
