Hey everyone
New here but came across this teaser for the upcoming Jetta on the US VW site
Volkswagen Upcoming and Concept Cars
Apparently revealed on the 15th of June
Any ideas for when it would arrive down under

Awesome, thanks! Looks like the Jetta to me, you can just make out the headlights which are like those in the concept

Yeah - motoring sites have confirmed it's the Jetta. The new Passat is still a while away.
I think that it's too early to say when it'll be in Australia though. Since it hasn't been officially unveiled anyway, there is no press release, and therefore no indication on the order of which countries will receive the new model, and therefore no way to even guestimate when it will be here!
Next year late is my prediction for new Jetta.
First Jettas will be the new entry versions 2.0L 85kW & 2.5L for the NAFTA region as it will begin pricing from as low as $15K.

I was hoping to see it arrive sometime near the end of the year or early 2011

Looks nice...but man, it looks like the body is really long in that pic. Almost like the Passat CC
Scirocco R - Candy White / DSG / Panoramic Roof / RNS510
Mods - HPA ECU & DSG Stage 2 / VWR Racing Intake / Akrapovic Slip-On Titanium Tips / Milltek DP / HPA Mounts / Superpro LCA / H&R Sport Springs / VMR V710 19x8.5 / Michelin PSS 255-35
Looks great, this reaffirms our decision to replace my wifes MKV Jetta 147TSI, which has been wonderfully trouble free for almost 4 years. Let's hope the new one drives well considering it's undergoing a platform change and is a little bigger! Anyone know which platform this sits on?
Being 90mm longer than the MKV it'll still be shorter than the Passat

Now just have to wait for it to hit our shores
