where to get VCDS/Ross tech cable

Where is the best place/lowest price to get a VCDS cable. I was looking at getting a ross tech cable. Was willing to pay the $350 but they want $92 postage.

New to all this... and you seem like you are very knowledgable... Why do I need the Hex+Can Cable for a Polo ?

Other than it not working, what is the reasoning behind this as the Ross-Tech website has Micro Cables at $249 US.

    Slightly confused... sorry.

I have a 2013 Polo GTI - With CAVE motor and ECU.

Micro-can is for mk5 chassis cars and your Polo isn't

Might be worth a call to one of the Australian distributors

Hey guys, Sorry to update an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one with the same topic.

I'm considering getting a Ross-Tech cable, mainly just to enable Traffic reports. The official ross-etch distributors don't seem to be selling the micro-can or the site is down completely.

Anyone know of anywhere else in Australia selling them?

    cheers.
