VCDS coding to enable parker light operation in MK6 Xenon headlamps??

This has kind of bugged me since day one, although i assume the parker lights are disabled from the factory because the Golf R has the DRL's.

Does anyone know how/if the parker lights can be enabled via the VCDS? See below the part im talking about. There is a plug and a T10 lightbulb inside this section, but they don't turn on.

    Thanks in advance.

I think this was brought up a while ago and nobody could figure out how these could be enabled. Would also been interested to know if anyone has finally got them to work.

IS that an indicator in other models? I know of a few VW models that have what look like lights and even bulbs in place which are not wired up or used in that particular model, from what I understand it's about common parts and it's easier to build them all ready and working and just not plug in the bits that are not used.

Not that I can speak with any certainty here...

Im not sure if its used as an indicator on other models? If i wasn't scared of the bloody CANBUS system, i would just wire them into the power going to the DRL's or something - but i don't want an error light on my dash.

It's a light on the Multivan in that position, don't know about other cars
