VAGCOM for Skoda RS MY10

Hi All,

Just wondering if worthwile to get a VAGCOM for my skoda. Ebay have them from minimal cost that connect to a PC.

What type would i need to get? and would it be likely this same one could be used with my 2007 Jetta?

Those eBay ones are dodgy and often don't work properly. They usually have less features and only work with certain types of car. The Ross tech cable will work with both your cars if you get the hex-can version but there over $400. The eBay ones are knock offs so beware.
Wether its worthwhile to you depends on what you want it for and how much you will use it.

ill be honest with you; I got one of the rip-off cables and it worked for a time. I ended up having problems so I bit the bullet and got the genuine one. i should have done that from the beginning and saved myself money and hassles.
